Checked into the airport hotel. Nice to have working aircon, (and a mini-fridge, although with one night I don't need to use it.)

Took the metro to the Duomo
Eventualy came to a set of stairs to the upper level. Smooth wet marble isn't the nicest material for a staircase.
This is ~65 meters above street level.
Dropped down to the original level, on the other side this time.
And then climbed a flight of stairs down 40+ meters into the building. Glad I payed for the lift up.
A crypt
Hard to get a picture that does the size justice.
There is also a dig site under the square outside.
Shopping mall coming of one of the edges of the square.
Will update the other places I visited today in new posts sometime, should be getting to sleep for tomorrow.
